The Arab Postal Union is a specialized Arab organization aimed at cooperation and coordination among Arab countries with regard to all postal matters.
The Arab Postal Union was established by virtue of a decision of the Council of the League of Arab States on 9 December 1946. It set to work on 12 April 1952. Consequently, it is the oldest specialized Arab organization.
