Princess Ferial was born on 17th November 1938. At her birth, a large celebration was held, during which food and clothing were distributed to 1,700 families who had a baby on her birthday. On her 5th birthday, this stamp was issued to mark the day. She accompanied her father when he left Egypt after the July 1952 revolution
