The conference was held on September 13, 1965 in Casablanca at the invitation of King Hassan II. Twelve Arab countries in addition to the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) attended while it was boycotted by Tunisia that was at odds with Egypt. The summit issued a final statement involving a group of decisions, the most important of which were:
Approving and signing the text of the Arab Solidarity Charter by the kings and presidents of Arab states altogether.
Supporting the Arab countries and backing the occupied south and the Arabian Gulf.
Claiming the liquidation of foreign bases and supporting disarmament and non-proliferation of nuclear weapons.
Supporting the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) and the Palestinian Liberation Army (PLA), studying the demand of establishing the Palestinian National Council and adopting the unified Arab plan for the defense of the Palestine issue in the United Nations and international forums.
Pursuing investment in the Jordan River and its tributaries according to the plan.
Abandoning power policies in order to solve international problems through peaceful means.
