Ahmed Shawky was born on 16 October 1868 and died on 14 October 1932. He was an Egyptian writer and one of the greatest poets of the Arab world in modern times. Nicknamed ‘Prince of Poets,’ he traveled to France at the expense of Khedive Tawfik, His first study trip to France developed Shawky's intellectual and creative approaches, and he then became linked in a close friendship with the leader Mustafa Kamel who was a pioneer of the literary, artistic, political, social and drama development that Egypt experienced. In the field of poetry, his contributions are evident in most of his poems.
Muhammad Hafez Ibrahim was born in Assiut Governorate on 24 February 1872 and died on 21 June 1932. His father was Egyptian while his mother was Turkish. He was well-known as a poet, and was called the poet of the Nile and the poet of the people
