Introduction

The first Egyptian postage stamp was issued in January 1866 during the reign of Khedive Ismail, and the first commemorative stamp was issued in 1925 during the reign of King Fouad. It was printed by the Survey Department in Giza in April 1925, on the occasion of the International Geographical Conference in Cairo. This book documents all Commemoratives Issues released up to January 1966, on the occasion of the centenary of the first Egyptian postage stamp. This is a continuation of the work that has been presented in previous volumes.
